How to get here
The Castlemaine Childrens’ Literature Festival is held in Castlemaine and various venues throughout Mount Alexander Shire.
Easily located in Central Victoria, the region is less than 90 minutes north-west of Melbourne and conveniently accessed by road and rail. Current Timetables are available from V/Line.
Sensational villages and towns are located close by, making the region an ideal base from which to explore Central Victoria, and of course the Grandaddy of the Gold rush, Bendigo is just up the road.
